For over 25 years, Lynn Morstad has been involved in business process re-engineering efforts aimed at generating significant value. Lynn has focused on building businesses off of strong financial control based platforms. From 2000 to 2013, Lynn worked locally in building products. As president of Ply Gem Windows (formerly MW Windows), Lynn spearheaded several strategic acquisitions and expansions, resulting in what is today one of North America’s largest window companies. After leading two successful private equity auctions and taking the company public in 2013, Lynn retired from Ply Gem. Today, he continues to consult while spending time with his family in Roanoke.
Prior to Ply Gem, Lynn started his career with Ralston Purina and worked on several re-engineering efforts as a senior Finance Officer at Cadbury Schweppes and Newell Company. Lynn is a certified public accountant and graduated from the University of Iowa.
